App development

Web app development

A web app is software people open in a browser - no download, no app store, nothing to install. It is the fastest way to put a working tool in front of users on any device, whether that is an internal dashboard, a booking system, a customer portal, or an online tool that actually does something. We build web apps with modern, well-structured code that loads fast, works on phones and desktops from the same codebase, and is easy to update as you grow. PollsLive, one of our own live products, is a web app people join straight from a browser by typing a code.

How we build it

Four simple steps, so you always know what is happening.

01

Get to know it

First we learn your idea, who it is for, and what it needs to do. Then we agree on a plan and a timeline.

02

Draw the screens

We draw the screens so you can see and try the app before we write any code.

03

Build it

We build it in small steps and show you often, so you always know how it is going.

04

Launch it

We put it live - App Store, Google Play, or the web - and help you after launch.

Good questions

Before you ask

What is the difference between a web app and a website? +
A website mostly shows information. A web app does things - people log in, enter data, get results, make payments. We build the second kind, though it can include normal pages too.
Will it work on phones as well as computers? +
Yes. We build every web app to work well on phones, tablets and desktops from the same codebase, so you do not need to pay for a separate mobile version.
Can a web app connect to tools we already use? +
Usually, yes. Most modern tools offer a way to connect, so a web app can pull in or send data to systems like your CRM, payment provider or email.
Can you turn a web app into a phone app later? +
Often, yes. A well-built web app can be extended to the App Store and Google Play, or share code with them. We plan for that from the start when you know it is coming.
